Types of Funds

An Endowment Fund is permanent. The initial investment that created the fund, along with the gifts that are added over the years, will always be at the Community Foundation to generate income meeting future needs. The Foundation Funds support programs and organizations as diverse as the interests of the donors establishing them. 

Fund for Marshall- Unrestricted Fund
The income from this endowed fund is used to support the emerging, changing, evolving needs of the community now and in the future. 

Named Funds were established from 1993-2002 and commemorate the lives of donors who have left a permanent gift of $3,000 or more to the Marshall Community Foundation.  These gifts helped to establish the Foundation’s Unrestricted Fund for Marshall

Charitable Remainder Fund
A Charitable Remainder Fund provides the donor with a lifetime income and ensures them a long-term investment in their community.
