Leaving a legacy...
Our Pillar Society celebrates those individuals and families who have chosen the Marshall Community Foundation as a way to improve and enhance the community for future generations through their wills or estate plans with a charitable trust, bequest, or other planned gift to the Marshall Community Foundation.
We want to thank the following Pillar Society members who have planned gifts for today that will provide significant benefits to our community in the future. We hope others are inspired by their example.

How to include the Foundation in your will
It is not complicated to include a bequest to the Marshall Community Foundation in your will. You may instruct your legal counsel to include the following in your instrument:
"I give, devise and bequeath the following _______ (describe assets which are the subject of the bequest; for example, a stated sum or the residue of the estate or a percentage of the residue of the estate) to the Marshall Community Foundation, a Michigan nonprofit corporation. This gift shall be known as the _____ Fund." (You choose the name of your fund.)
If you want your bequest to be applied to an area of charitable interest or to specific organizations, add the following:
"This fund shall be devoted to the support of _____."
